Lisa Scarbrough
President/Founder

As president of Coastal Pet Rescue, Lisa serves as Chief Executive of the Executive Board. She maintains daily operations per Department of Agriculture, Secretary of State, and IRS regulations. She also directs public relations and media strategies and coordinates with all board members for public relations initiatives.

Wendy Owens
Vice-President

As Vice President, Wendy manages human resources of the organization, primarily the volunteers. She also oversees the finances of the organization and handles all disputes and legal matters. Wendy is also the coordinator for our Petco adoption days and serves as chief event coordinator for our major events.

Michelle Still
VP of Animal Management

Michelle oversees our foster pet program. She provides support to the foster coordinator and foster parents.

Ashley Davis
VP of Adoptions

Ashley serves as our Vice President of Adoptions. She oversees other adoption coordinators in reviewing adoption applications, scheduling adoption interviews, and conducting the final adoptions. She is responsible for the training of adoption coordinators and in-home interviewers and creates and oversees standardized responses to all potential adopters.

Custis L. (Bud) Rosser
VP of Sponsorship Development

As our VP of Sponsorship Development, Bud works with businesses and influential individuals to create strategic partnerships for the sustainment of Coastal Pet Rescue.

Heather Erwin
Secretary

As Secretary Heather answers and distributes/returns voicemail calls daily and manages our monthly newsletter. She also assists with special projects and promotions and maintains minutes of executive board meetings.As CPR's Secretary, Heather handles checking and returning phone calls left on our voicemail as well as compiling and sending our monthly newsletter.

Jackie Blazier
Adoption Coordinator

As adoption coordinator, Jackie reviews adoption applications daily and counsels potential adopters to find the right pet for them.

Sonia Carias
Foster Coordinator

As Foster Coordinator, Sonia conducts inteviews and orientations for prospective foster parents. She makes arrangements to get the pets to the foster parents, schedules foster parents for event appearances, and maintains all paperwork per Georgia Department of Agriculture regulations.

Meg Lester
Volunteer Coordinator

As Volunteer Coordinator, Meg conducts interviews and orientations for new volunteers. She also schedules them for event appearances and tracks volunteer hours for those needing documentation.

Sherry Montgomery
The Milton Project Coordinator

As coordinator for The Milton Project, CPR's trap-neuter-release program for feral cats, Sherry coordinates all trapping efforts and schedules cats for their spays and neuters.

All our executive board and leadership team members are volunteers. They all have full-time jobs. They donate their time, and in some cases, their money, to being a leader for Coastal Pet Rescue. Officers and volunteers do not receive any monetary compensation for their work with Coastal Pet Rescue.
